Hallo

My name is Ciprian and I am from Romania. I joined this forum precisely to have some information regarding the Jenapol microscope. It seems that it is very little information though. Does anyone have the manuals? I am looking mainly for a service manual.

Klaus Herrmann

Hello Ciprian,

the best specialist I know is Franz Ganster from the austrian mikroforum: https://mikroskopie-forum.at/index.php?page=Index
He has also a special website: http://interphako.at/

I am shure he will answer your questions!

best regards Klaus

Hello Klaus
Thank you for your input. I saw the site but it is dedicated to the Interphako version. Anyway I will take your advice and contact Franz directly maybe he has some information about the normal Jenapols (d, u, or even b). Strangely enough (what a coincidence !!!!) today popped on eBay.de the Service manual for the Jenapol ... (spicy price but there it is :) )  item # 302296400139 .
Best regards
Ciprian

Hello Ciprian,
nice, but this is not the manual its only a list of all parts as I understand.

You're right it is only a list.
There are some diagrams though.

Hello Ciprian,

you can also contact the company "Mikroskop Technik Rathenow". They make the service for the old devices from Carl Zeiss Jena. Selected operating instructions and printouts for Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes are available on request.

Hello Jürgen
I have already contacted them. They gave me the user manual, although poor scan quality still good for information. Still there is little info about what is inside.
The real need is to see how the reflection part is made. I want to convert my d model to a u or b model so I want to know what kind of optics Jenapol reflection models used (Smith or Berek triple-prism).
Regards!

Jürgen

Hello Ciprian,

i think, they know the answer too.

Best wishes
Jürgen
