das weiß ich und hatte ich bereits schon gemacht - ich möchte dies aber per E-Mail tun um bei Bedarf zu wissen, wohin diese Infos überhaupt gehen.
Ich hatte auf die Art und Weise um die Email-Adresse gebeten und daraufhin kam keine Antwort. Und ich möchte auch nicht, dass eine von mir aufwändig geschriebene Rezension auf englisch in einem Spam-Ordner irgendwo versandet - wie offensichtlich ja auch die erste Mail.

Hallo zusammen, Hallo Rainer,
also wenn Christian ihn eingeladen hat hier im Forum werbemäßig für Motik tätig zu werden, dann ist das doch super korrekt und nach allen Regeln des Forums abgelaufen. Dann gibt es ja sicher auch eine offizielle Vorstellung, damit man ein wenig Background hat.
Schau doch einfach mal in seine Vorstellung rein!

Hallo Rainer,
da scheint es ein Missverständnis zu geben: genauso, wie ich Deine E-Mail-Adresse sehen kann, wenn ich die Maus über den Briefumschlag neben der PM-Sprechblase Deines Forumsnamens gehe, sehe ich auch Alex Chans E-Mail. Was Du meinst, war wahrscheinlich eine Private Mitteilung (PM) hier im Forum. Das kennen manche nicht oder rufen diese Nachrichten selten ab.
PMs sind keine E-Mails, sondern liegen auf dem Foren-Server!

If you whant to make business with a group it is wise to introduce yourselves first. Why should anybody answer your questions, when nobody has a little more background about you and your intentions?

I appreciate your suggestions and advices. I will try to post in German (I will keep this post in English for now). But I cant promise that all of my sentences would make sense, Google Translate ;).
A little bit more about myself. I am from Hong Kong, and I am here to reach out to our Motic users to see if they experience any issues with the microscopes.
My intention is definitely not to sell anything. I made a mistake by being a little deceptive in other forums and its a shame and embarrassing, I regret for doing so.
I will be as transparent as I can be.

Dear Alex,
I am using a Moticam 2300 since about 3,5 years and I am very happy with both the hardware and the software.
Many pics I posted in this forum here in the last years were taken with this camera because it is so convenient, and I am receiveing a lot of positive feedback on my pics.
At the same time the Moticam 2300 is so simple to use and flexible that only for special applications I need to employ my Canon 5D MKII on the microscopes.
I have also tested the Moticam 2500 but the image quality was poor compared with the great 2300, I guess there is a limit to the amount of pixels per inch or the pixel size respectively...
The chinese programmers once reacted swiftly to a request of mine and implemented a 'night view' of the software with a dark window backgroud - very handy if you are doing fluorescence microscopy and want to avoid a bright glare from a computer screen nearby :)
The only issue I experience with the software is that I cannot properly export and import my calibration data, so after a software update or other necessary re-installation of the software I am in need to physically re-calibrate all my objectives, which is cumbersome.

Please download the latest Images Plus 2.0 from our software download page: http://www.motic.com/index?p=189 this will assist you to properly export and import calibration data.
Please let me know if you are able to properly calibrate data. Please do let me know if there are any other issues and I will help you as much as I can.

Can you be specific in which camera you are referring to? At this moment, not all cameras are compatible with MAC OS X. You can find all of the latest updates within our software download page.
