Titel: Coarse focus control Leitz Dialux 22
Beitrag von: hhuijbre in Mai 04, 2014, 09:55:26 VORMITTAG
Hello,

some time ago I did buy an additional bare Dialux stand.  When it arrived both fine and coarse focus control were working but the coarse control could only be adjusted on a small part of the normal vertical movement. Therefore I decided to take apart the control knobs starting with the  left one, carefully arranging the loose parts from the outside to the inside (see figure) https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=7B3FC1765E96F00F!7427 (https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=7B3FC1765E96F00F!7427). After removal of the left knob the right knob could again  move freely on the whole vertical path.  I have removed the old hardened grease from the internal parts and want to reassemble the left knob, but are a bit confused about of the ten black plastic rings. I have no clue about their function and do not know if I should use grease or just some oil on these rings?

Apologies for writing in English. No problem with reading German but writing is a little bit too difficult...

Thank you,

Hans (Holland)
