I have planned to use this scope as a traveling scope in my autocamper - but where do i get a spare bulb at a reasonable price?
In the manual stand it is a 6v 5w filament lamp 38 00 29-7180
Dons bulbs charge 107$ which seems a little overpriced...

Hi Klaus -
6 V/5 W bulbs from bicyles are suitable, however I once mounted the LED from a cheap pocket lamp from the supermarket. Works fine and there is enough room for the accus in the foot of the microscope.

Thanks - I had the suspicion that it was an ordinary bulb Which was my reason to ask about before ordering an higpriced bulb.
