Titel: Unglued Jung Microtome Glass Table
Beitrag von: Michael Cytrynowicz in Mai 12, 2024, 20:32:59 NACHMITTAGS
Very Dear Forum,

Please forgive my writing in English.

After many years of great service, the glass table on my Jung Hand-Microtome came unglued - see photo.

Anyone knows what is the best glue for fixing it again?

Many Thanks,

Michael

Dear Michael,

there will be no problem. Take Pattex, that will certainly work.

regards
Peter

Hallo Michael,
There are a lot of different products under the PATTEX label (https://www.pattex.de/de/products/klebstoff.html). I think "Kraftkleber" will do it.

Thank You Gerd!

I am buying it via Amazon.de (always great for Portugal delivery).
I was actually shocked how many varieties of Pattex there are  :)
Pattex is part of the Henkel group, I think I remember using Henkel glues in Brazil way back.

Anyways, I found 2 types that seemed especially appropriate, and for gluing glass to metal!

I must a confess a secret love for glues (no, not for sniffing ha ha).
