Titel: Rotation microtome problems

We (Henk van Dijk and me, Mario Reget) just started using the rotation microtome, and obtained the following problem: all goes well if we cut less than 10µ. Thicker then this makes all coupes curl. We would like to cut thicker sections for botanical samples.
All our evaluations failed, who can help us?

Hallo, Henk and  Mario,

try a softer paraffin or another cutting angle. Or breathe upon the bloc. Or use a little wooden touthpick or a fine brush:
