Oblique illumination and condenser position.

Hi all,

When playing with "schiefe beleuchtung" it is worthwile to try different condenser height positions to see what the effect is. Below two pictures of P angulatum. The first one at lower than "optimal" position (more than 5 mm from slide) :



The second one at high position (about 1-2 mm from slide):



I like the first one best. Images taken with objective 40/0.65 and oblique illumination by swinging out the filter holder. Best regards,
