Hi,

In a DMLB microscope:

Is there a screw to tighten the condenser holder so it doesn't lower slowly due to the weight of the condenser turret?

If so, where is it?

Dear Elurdio,

You have two knobs which move the condenser holder up and down.
One  on the left and one one the right.
Each knob is closed with a plastic cap.
Remove this cap. Under the cap there are screws which can be tightend a bit more.
But also maybe you´d have to exchange the lubrication.

Everything on own risk please.
There should be a bit mechanical knowledge to avoid damages.

Kind regards

Hi Diana,

I have decided to try your method. After removing the cap, there is a gold nut, is that the one to tighten?
