Neuer Diatomeenatlas im Netz für fossile Diatomeen

Hallo Diatomeenfreunde,
es gibt einen neuen Diatomeenatlas im Netz von Jakub Witkowski.
Dies wird uns allen die Bestimmung fossiler Proben erleichtern.
Jakub Witkowski ist einer der weltweit führenden und bekannten Wissenschaftler für fossile Diatomeen.
Der Atlas ist ganz neu und wird noch ständig ergänzt von Jakub.

Greetings Group,
I've been working for some time on a way to share the collection of diatom images that I've generated through the years. A couple of weeks ago, I finally started the Fossil Diatom Atlas, which you may find at https://fossil-diatoms.com/atlas/index.php
Many of the the images included in the Atlas were already posted on Instagram, or here, but many were not. As stated on the home page, the Atlas aims to be, or to become, a quick reference for those looking for an id for a diatom. But hopefully it will also be used simply to admire the intricacy of diatoms.
It is still very early in the life of the Atlas, and I have not yet implemented all the features that I'd like it to have. But it's ready to be used, and to keep growing.
