WILD objectives tube lenght

does somebody can tell me if WILD lenses working good on my zeiss microscope 160mm?

Hallo Arturo,
solange die Objektive für 160mm Tubuslänge gerechnet wurden gibt es da natürlich keine Probleme.
Aber es kommt darauf an, ob Du nur Wild Optiken benutzen willst, oder einen Mix beabsichtigst. Davon würde ich abraten. Meine Wilds brauchen andere Okulare als meine Zeisse, und haben auch nicht die gleiche Abgleichlänge.

The zeiss standard cannot bring the tube low enough to be able to use the Wild  lenses (36 or 37 mm, can't remember exactly) straight away, you will need adapters for that (empty extenders or Plezy adapters). I wouldn't go that way.

Hello Arturo,

the Wild objectives have an alignment length of 37 mm. So you would have in general mechanical problems to use them with a Zeiss microscope, designed for an alignment length of 37 mm. So it is up to you if you would like to use adaptors... I am of the same opinion as René.

Aufgepasst, mein Wild 2x hat eine extrem lange Abgleichlänge von ca. 60mm. Da nützt auch ein Adapter nichts.
