Last Friday and Saturday I was there, make a few observations that gave a little uncomfortable result, it was a Portuguese caravel (Physalia physalis), the photos I had retained until this morning my wife has informed me that he had come on the news .

The photos.
Greetings from Spain.

Ah, the Portugese man-of-war, or the ship of war as we would call it in the Netherlands (same for Deutschland, I believe). Never seen it myself. Did you ever got stung?

Best wishes, René

In June 2004 one morning the high-water line on the beach in Pismo CA was covered with these jelly fish.
The evening before people were in the water but not this morning.

From a distance they looked like dry plastic washed on the beach.

Good morning friends, I've been researching and I think there is an error.
The first picture is of Physalia physalis.
The second is of Velella Velella.
Forgiveness and greetings from Spain.
