Diatom Anuloplicata concentrica (A. Schmidt) Gleser.
Der Durchmesser 55 Mikrometer.
Es handelt sich um fossile Diatomeen aus Kamyschlov/Russland (in Englisch: Kamyshlov/Russia).

Eine interessante, regelmäßige Diatomeen. Sieht fast so aus, wie die Glasteller meiner Mutter.

Hi Anatoly, that´s a very nice image.

However, I cannot reconcile your image with the modern species we find along the Dutch coast which we call P. westii. Unfortunately the original reference to the renaming to Pseudopodosira is a bit difficult to get hold of (http://www.algaebase.org/search/bibliography/detail/?biblio_id=A8de75a5c767ff72b). Might be easier for you to get hold of? Could you find out more?

Sehr interessante SEM Bilder. Aber ich habe eine Frage. Warum ist der innere Bereich (unscharf). Für mich sieht es so aus, als ob etwas im Elektronenstrahlengang lag? Vieleicht kann ein REM/SEM Experte ja was genaueres dazu sagen?
